Meet Steven
In 2022, Steven Sonneveld and his young family left the Netherlands in search to live more independently and in tune with nature, they settled in Alentejo. Steven now puts his skills to work with his company SUNFIELD SOLAR creating tailored Victron-based solar off-grid setups that are reliable, resilient, and easy to use.

An off-grid solar system is a complete, self-sufficient setup that generates, stores, and manages your energy. You can have full grid independence or you can choose the grid as a back-up during peak demands. It includes solar panels to capture sunlight, batteries to store power for day and night use, and an inverter to convert that energy into electricity for your home.
We design each system based on how you live, properly sizing the panels, batteries, and inverter to match your energy needs across seasons. From first setup to daily use, we take care of the technical side so your system runs reliably and efficiently.
